Winemaker's note: Wine vinified by François Gaunoux with Claudine. Weather conditions: A very abundant harvest, no major weather events. The Volnay Clos des Chênes, like all wines from 1996, have a very high natural acidity. This is a great vintage. The ideal way to enjoy these wines is during a meal. Harvest around September 22nd.
