Winemaker's note: Wine vinified by François Gaunoux. Weather conditions: A very cold winter, with temperatures dropping to -25°C. On July 1st, a massive rainstorm occurred. The harvest was abundant and of high quality. This is undoubtedly the finest vintage of the 1980s for Les Grands Epenots. A truly great wine. Harvest around October 1st.
