Comment
Winemaker's note: Wine vinified by François Gaunoux. Weather conditions: A wet and fairly cool year. A small harvest, with Puligny-Montrachet that have exceptional aging potential for a village wine from an older vintage. These bottles are ready to drink. 1970, 1976, and 1978 were the standout vintages for Chardonnay in the 1970s. Harvest around October 10th.
(*)As the wines are lying in France, French VAT at a rate of 20% will be added to the hammer price and the buyer’s commission.
