Comment

Prospective spirit buyers should be aware of certain restrictions imposed by various jurisdictions regarding the shipment and importation of spirits (including Liqueurs Chartreuse). Many countries impose limitations on quantity, high duties and/or taxes. Prospective buyers should be fully aware on export and import restriction before planning any shipment of Liqueurs Chartreuse and spirits in general.

Saleroom notice

100% malted barley. Milled and mashed before being fermented in Suntory's proprietary wooden vats. Distilled through Suntory's copper-pot stills — the first of their kind outside of Scotland. Matured in combination of American, Spanish and Japanese oak. All made by hand. Released in 1992. Approx 80% was matured in sherry butts while the remaining in American and Mizunara oak casks. 96 points “For its strength probably one of the best whiskies in the world. And one of the most brilliantly and sexily balanced too...” – Jim Murray
