Slightly damaged wax cap at the very top. Bin-soiled strip label “Distilled on her coronation day. This Chartreuse has been especially matured in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II”. Bin-soiled label. Good back label "This special old matured Chartreuse was distilled on the Coronation Day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It was put aside on casks to mature until H. R. H. the Prince of Wales attained his majority. The bottles employed are of an early 19th century design, and are individualy numbered. N°0001 to N° 1000 are for green Chartreuse and N°1001 to N°2000 are for yellow Chartreuse"and slightly damaged wax stamp at the back of the bottle. Level at 6,5cms below base of capsule.
