Winemaker's note: Wine vinified by François Gaunoux. Weather conditions: A very cold winter, with temperatures dropping to -25°C. A massive rainfall on July 1st. The harvest is abundant in both quantity and quality. Arguably the best vintage of the 1980s for Les Rugiens. A truly exceptional wine. Harvest around October 1st.
